After 47 years, William Branson III portrait artist is transitioning

from his NC studio at the end of 2019 and relocating to Tennessee.

He will continue creating portraiture,

helping families hold onto time, from Tennessee.

Those who know me know how important I feel about family.  So, after 47 years of creating timeless, classic portraiture from my North Carolina studio, my wife, Dianne and I are moving to be closer to our grandchildren.  There we will be able to be a part of their lives as they grow up.

This does not mean that I will no longer be creating my timeless portraiture! I will continue to accept new commissions, however on a smaller scale.

I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to create unique portraits from my Durham studio for families from around the world for all these years and I thank each and every one of you for allowing me to be a part of your lives.  As we relocate to Tennessee, I will continue to work with families from all over who appreciate fine art and have the desire to hold onto time, of those they love, with my portraiture.

Thursday, Nov. 14, 2019 will be the last day William creates a portrait in his Durham studio.

(after Nov. 14, 2019 all negatives and digital files not purchased will be DESTROYED)
