For competition at the Professional Photographers of North Carolina Convention in mid-August, William decided to enter several paintings in the new style he has been developing over the past year. He was rewarded by winning 1st and 2nd place in the "groups" category for portraiture and 3rd place in the "children" category. He also won the Kodak award for one of his most breathtaking images, a painted portrait of Morgan Lamont and her daughter, Isabella.

Of course, this is all fresh after his recognition at the National Convention for Professional Photographers, where all four of the prints William entered for competition were merited, one was accepted in the PPA Showcase Book, and another was accepted into the PPA Loan Collection Book, the highest honor possible in the National Convention.

It's wonderful to see such fantastic results come of William's hard work!

Take a look at some of the award winning images below! (And write William generous words of congratulations in the comments, because he deserves them!)
